E-Mail Marketing Should be Purposeful
If you don’t have a strategy for your e-mail marketing campaign, don’t push the send button. Strategy has to drive content, otherwise you run the risk of irritating your audience by filling up their inboxes with info that does not make their lives better.
Strategy includes knowing WHO you are talking to. Demographics, sociographics, psychographics… What are their needs? How can you meet them?
E-mail marketing needs to lead with the need. The need should be expressed in a way that resonates with your target demographic. This includes choices of words, imagery, and how you craft the call to action. Most people don’t want to be told or sold. They want a legitimate solution to their need.
If you don’t have a legitimate solution to their need, wait to e-mail until you do. If you need help with your e-mail marketing, please reach out for a complimentary consultation. You can schedule it HERE.
